Winter Ready: Fire Prevention and Safety Presentation

Wednesday, December 17, 4:30-5:30pm, at the West Tisbury Library, join us for a Fire Prevention and Safety Presentation. As temperatures drop and holiday celebrations continue, home safety becomes more important than ever. Join the West Tisbury Emergency Management Director Jennelle Gadowski and the West Tisbury Fire Chief Greg Pachico for a special winter preparedness and fire-safety session.

We’ll discuss:
•Home heating safety (space heaters, wood stoves, fireplaces)
•Preventing winter fire hazards & common seasonal risks
•Chimney + furnace basics & annual maintenance reminders
•Holiday decoration & lighting safety
•Portable generators, carbon monoxide, and electrical safety
•Emergency plans for extreme cold, power outages, & winter storms
