“Telling Tales” with Mark Alan Lovewell
In-person event!
On Monday, July 12 at 7:30pm, join us for a family event on the library lawn with Mark Alan Lovewell, local maritime folksinger, storyteller, and writer. He sings songs of the sea, old and new. He has put together a special program of spooky songs and tales that are mostly connected to Martha’s Vineyard and its rich supernatural history. Everything from mermaids and ghostly tales from the local shore and afar. And he’ll tuck in a legendary tale of a pirate or two. This event is free and open to the public. Best for ages 10+ as some tales may get spooky! Please bring a blanket to sit on. Email lhearn@clamsnet.org with any questions.
