Class Full! Mosaic Workshop

On Tuesday, December 3rd, from 10:30am-12:30pm, at the West Tisbury Library, join glass artist Courtney McCloskey for an exciting one day introduction to glass mosaics! You will learn the basic techniques such as cutting glass, adhering, and creating shapes to compose unique designs. Students will create their own small glass mosaic that they will be able to take home the day of the class. No previous experience required, this class is open to all levels. About the instructor:
Courtney McCloskey is a glass artist and educator. She is inspired by the environments around her and how they impact the quality of life. McCloskey works with several fabrication and public access glass studios. These studios have a great influence on her personal work and teaching style. Her current body of work emphasizes being resourceful with materials and building communities within the classrooms.
