Henna Tattoo in the Young Adult Room

Join us in the Young Adult Room on Mondays AND Thursdays at 4 P.M. beginning July 18th for Henna! Henna (Lawsonia inermis) is a plant-based dye created from the henna tree, also known as Egyptian privet, and mignonette tree. The leaves of the henna plant contain a natural coloring pigment that is used for temporary body art. Designs can last up to two weeks. Dye must be left on for more than 30 mins for design to last. Sign up is recommended. Please email lhearn@clamsnet.org to sign up. Each participant will receive no more than 10 minutes of the artist’s time, so we can offer to program to more participants. This event is free and open to the public. This event is for ages 8+
