Eel Grass Rescue

Description: Eelgrass is one of the most important plants in the ocean. It cleans the water, absorbs carbon, produces oxygen and protects our coastline! Rescue eelgrass that can still grow in this family-friendly activity. Learn about how to save eelgrass that is still viable and washes up onto our shores. Families will collect eel grass in buckets and nets, and give to the Shellfish Group to cultivate and grow more. All materials provided by the Shellfish Group.
