Dionis Coffin Riggs Day of Poetry

On Wednesday, August 6th, at 4pm, the West Tisbury Library presents the seventh annual Dionis Coffin Riggs Day of Poetry. This special event was established on her birthday to annually commemorate not only the work of Ms. Riggs but the work from poets who have been members of the poetry group she established in her home 60 years ago and continues to this day, the Cleaveland House Poets. 

Family, friends, and the community are invited to join together and read their favorite Dionis Coffin Riggs poems or an original poem inspired by the Vineyard. All are welcome! Free and open to the public.
