Concert: Shelly Jones & May Oskan

On Saturday, December 14th, from 3-4:30pm, join us at the West Tisbury Library for an afternoon of original music by two generations of Vineyard songwriters. Vineyard native May Oskan gives her first Island performance in over a decade, joined by her mother, local songwriter and guitar teacher Shelly Jones. Perhaps best known for her rock musical The Ape Woman, May brings a collection of new songs on themes of memory, understanding, and the passing of time. Shelly showcases her own heartfelt and soulful music. Expect special guests and surprises! Free and open to the public.
