Bonsai Exhibit

From July 16-20, the West Tisbury Library will host an exhibit featuring the work of the Bonsai Club of Martha’s Vineyard. These beautiful, live works of art will be displayed in the upper level of the library and can be viewed anytime the library is open.

Please join us for a bonsai demonstration on Saturday, July 20, at 1pm. Bonsai Club members Don Sibley and Dan Meleney will give a brief history and a personal take on the fascination of this “hobby” (“Obsession” would be a better word). Materials and techniques will be shown. Both the exhibit and presentation are free and open to the public.

The Bonsai Club of Martha’s Vineyard was founded 15 years ago. It has an active membership of approximately 20 members. They meet on the first Tuesday of the month at MV Center for Living in Vineyard Haven. All are welcome to join and no experience is required.
