Chair Caning Workshop with Fred Thornbrugh

Learn how to hand-weave a chair seat using traditional techniques. Bring a chair you’d like to repair or restore. A limited number of practice chairs will also be available. All tools are provided. Following the introductory session, Fred will assist participants with purchasing the materials needed for their projects. Please note that participants are responsible for reimbursing Fred for any materials he purchases on their behalf.  Instruction is free & this class is open to the public! This class will meet on the library porch, weather permitting.
