Music Street Concert: “Songs Without Words”
On Saturday, March 21, at 4pm, join us at the West Tisbury Library for “Songs Without Words,” a concert presented by Music Street. This performance will feature cellist Thomas Barth, violinist Sophia Szokolay, and pianist Diane Katzenberg Braun. Free and open to the public.
Music Street’s Spring concert leans into lyricism, both dynamic and romantic. The trio will perform trios and duos in some wonderful new and old discoveries: Georgian Folk Tunes for cello and piano, a Catalan troubadour inspired work commissioned by violinist Sophia Szokolay for violin and piano, Felix Mendelssohn’s “Songs without Words”, exhilarating tangos and more. “Music warms the world” is our new motto!
This concert is co-sponsored by the Procter Smith Family and the West Tisbury Library Foundation.
