Daytime Warming Center
From West Tisbury Emergency Management:
Due to Winter Storm Fern, inclement weather, and the potential for power outages, a Daytime Warming Center will be open at the West Tisbury Free Public Library on Sunday, January 25 & Monday, January 26, from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
The warming center is a safe, warm place to escape the cold outdoors or take a break from a cold home for a few hours. Amenities include:
Heat and seating
Wi-Fi access
Options to charge phones and laptops
Food, light snacks, drinks, and activities
Animal Emergency Shelter Reminder:
The Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society Animal Barn is available as an Emergency Shelter for animals during severe weather events.
