Tick Bite Prevention Talk

On Saturday, November 15, at 5:30pm, join us at the West Tisbury Library for a Tick Bite Prevention Talk with Patrick Roden-Reynolds. Patrick will discuss tick ecology and behavior with an emphasis on the “Before the Bite” mantra. He will cover the most important prevention tactics to help keep you safe while outdoors. Learn how to reduce tick exposure at home, in your yard, and while enjoying the outdoors.

Patrick Roden-Reynolds is Public Health Biologist for the Inter-Island Public Health Excellence Collaboration and Director of the Martha’s Vineyard Tick Program. His work focuses on education and surveillance of vector-borne diseases and their vector populations.
