Monthly zoom meet up for “art calendar”

The library is now hosting a monthly online craft meetup group where members will create a .
one-of-a-kind calendar/journal in any medium you are comfortable with (ink, embroidery, paint
etc) or try something new. This is an innovative and captivating art calendar project, showcasing
the vibrant beauty of watercolor, the detailed precision of pen and ink, and/or the intricate
texture of embroidery.

Each individual determines which “life events” are depicted in the calendar. This form of daily/weekly/monthly journaling where the artist uses emoji-type icons to represent their day/week/month. Using a pie chart type pattern, the artist will embroider or draw somewhere you went, something you did, or even how you were feeling that day.

Throughout the year, your calendar will continue to fill with icons, together representing your year.

This is a monthly meet-up on Zoom. Email lhearn@clamsnet.org to be on the email list for the zoom link. The meetups are monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30-7:30pm beginning Tuesday April 16th.
