Gardens & Photographs Presentation

On Tuesday, May 21, at 3:30pm, at the West Tisbury Library, join us for a springtime presentation by gardener and floral designer Helene Barr. Helene will be covering “the last five years of photographs that I have taken of flowers in my garden, in southern France, wherever I find them in gardens outside and gardens inside.” This event is free and open to the public. 

About Helene Barr:
“Photography, art history, and horticulture have been passionate mainstays of my long life. Beginning with a family trip from Connecticut to Miami beach at the age of six, and after high school graduation a six week European tour created and led by a generous, smart Girl Scout leader, to a life of floral design, floral design teaching, writing a garden column in my hometown newspaper and gardening, gardening, gardening, I have been fortunate to pursue a creative life.”
