{"id":4087,"date":"2022-06-25T19:17:25","date_gmt":"2022-06-25T19:17:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/westtisburylibrary.org\/publiclibrary\/?post_type=mec-events&#038;p=4087"},"modified":"2022-08-05T15:09:36","modified_gmt":"2022-08-05T15:09:36","slug":"annual-friends-of-the-west-tisbury-library-book-sale-outdoors-at-the-library-weather-permitting","status":"publish","type":"mec-events","link":"https:\/\/westtisburylibrary.org\/publiclibrary\/events\/annual-friends-of-the-west-tisbury-library-book-sale-outdoors-at-the-library-weather-permitting\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual Friends of the West Tisbury Library Book Sale (outdoors at the library, weather permitting)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The annual Friends of the West Tisbury Library book sale will be back but in a different format, location, and schedule.\u00a0 For those who wish to continue supporting the library, we will be selling gently-used books through smaller sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beginning Sunday, July 10, 2022, 12-4 p.m., weather permitting, weekly pop-up sales will be held in the parking lot and on the porches of the West Tisbury Library on State Road opposite Alley\u2019s General Store.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each Sunday will offer fiction, mystery, Martha\u2019s Vineyard, and children\u2019s books.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, weekly specials will feature specific categories:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 10 \u2013 Cookbooks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 17 \u2013 Biography<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 24 \u2013 Gardening<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 31 \u2013 Military and Maritime<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">August 7 &#8211; Art<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">August 14 &#8211; Assorted non-fiction<br \/>\nOn the final book sale date, August 14, books will be sold by the bag! Fit all the books you can in your paper shopping bag ($15), recyclable shopping bag ($20), large boat bag ($25), or Ikea bag ($30).
