Summer Reading at the West Tisbury Library

Children

Starting June – 2026

Kids of all ages (0+) are invited to sign up in the Children’s Room! Set a summer reading goal for the number of books you’ll read or have read to you. Once you reach your goal, return to the library to receive a one-of-a-kind West Tisbury Library Summer Reading t-shirt. Then celebrate with us at the end of the summer during a special tie-dye party to make your shirt uniquely your own!

COME TO THE SUMMER READING KICK-OFF PARTY at the High School Field!
Saturday, June 27 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Location:
100 Edgartown Vineyard Haven Road, Oak Bluffs

DJ, Bounce Houses, hair tinsel, face painting, games, crafts and more! 

Young Adults

Starting June – 2026

Come to the library in person and create your own reading goal by signing up in our composition notebook.

Once you complete your goal, come back to the library to get your prize.

Prizes for Young Adults are a one day pass for the MV Agricultural Fair or a summer reading t-shirt or a library bag- you get to choose!

(Fair passes are given out the week of the fair)

Adults

Starting June – 2026

Join our Adult Summer Reading program! Stop by the library anytime before the end of August to sign up. Set a reading goal of two or more books. Once the goal is met, chat with a library staff member about your favorite books and earn a free West Tisbury Library book bag. Happy reading!
