Annual MV Community Seed Library’s Seedling Swap!

On Saturday, May 28, from 12:30-2pm, please join us at the West Tisbury Library for the MV Community Seed Library’s annual Seedling Swap. Bring heirloom vegetable, flower, and fruit seedlings or cuttings to swap and share. The seed library collection will be available to check seeds out for the season. Help us grow and develop locally adapted varieties for our seed cabinet, and share in the joy of producing locally grown food. If you don’t have plants to swap, no problem! There will be a selection of locally grown seedlings to take home. Please remember to save your seeds after the growing season and “return” them to the seed library. 

Free and open to the public. This event is presented by Island Grown Initiative, Polly Hill Arboretum, West Tisbury Library, Whippoorwill Farm, and local home gardeners.
