“From Tee Shirt to Treasure” Presentation with the MV Modern Quilt Guild

On Tuesday, August 16th, from 11am-12pm, join us at the West Tisbury Library for a presentation by the Martha’s Vineyard Modern Quilt Guild. The Guild spent the winter making tee shirt quilts which will be auctioned off to benefit the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society beginning on July 29. These unique creations feature Ag Fair tee shirts from years past.

Find out about this exciting collaboration from three of the Guild members: Katherine Long, Mary Ruth Flores, and Anna Marie D’Addarie. These quilters will take you through the process of how to make a tee shirt quilt; what they learned from this project; and what you need to make your own quilt. This event is free and open to the public.
