Art Reception: Roberta Gross
Rolling into July with vibrant waves of color, and abstract emotive form, the West Tisbury Public Library is pleased to announce both a physical and digital exhibition featuring the artwork of Roberta Gross. This exhibit “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, & Something Blue” is a collection of her work in acrylic, pastels, monoprints, and screen prints (For this exhibit, she borrowed a previously sold painting, hence, “something borrowed”). She is also exhibiting a number of new pastel works which display her signature exuberance, energy, love of dark black lines and vibrant colors. This exhibit will be on display in the library’s Community Room and online on the West Tisbury Library Virtual Gallery throughout the month of July. Visit the virtual gallery at www.wtlibraryvirtualgallery.org.
The library will host a closing reception, in a limited capacity, on Monday, July 26th, at 4:30pm. This is a drop in event. Masks are required while inside of the library building. Free and open to the public.
