Art Exhibit at the West Tisbury Library: Phyllis Dunn
This April the West Tisbury Library brings you an exhibition featuring the photographs of Phyllis Dunn. Come visit the library to see these photographs in the Community Room of the Library. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, April 6th at 4 :30 pm.
Phyllis Dunn vacationed for years on the island before retiring from IHS Corporation in Connecticut. She then moved to the island full time in 2011. Her photos have been featured in shows in various island libraries throughout her years on island.
Dunn’s photographs are of the island and its beauty. She especially likes to find images to photograph up- island, in her words “the hills, water, boats and villages…The beauty of this island has given me a passion to produce my work and to give to the community. Traveling up-island gives me much peace, and wonders to discover and to photograph.”
Check out this show anytime throughout the month in-person at the library during normal library hours. Both the show and the reception are free and open to the public.
