Writing Workshop with Moira Silva

Starting October 3rd, the West Tisbury Library will host a five-week writing workshop series with Moira Silva on Thursdays from 9-10:30am: 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 & 10/31. These sessions will meet in-person at the library. Please contact wt_mail@clamsnet.org to sign up. Space is limited. Participants are asked to commit to all sessions. Free and open to the public!

In this five-week writing course, taught by award-winning writer and instructor Moira Silva, writers are invited to tell the story closest to them. The workshops will include a blend of exercises, readings, and discussions. All genres are welcome, with an emphasis on memoir writing. By the end of the workshop, writers will leave lighter in spirit and richer in purpose. Bring an existing project or a blank notebook. No experience is required.
