DESCRIPTION:All are invited to attend an upcoming CPR class at the West Tisbury Library, led by EMT and American Heart Association CPR instructor Alan Ganapol.\nAlan will be offering monthly free classes at the library through the summer:\nThursday, July 16, 1-2:30pm\nThursday, August 27, 1-2:30pm\nThursday, September 17, 1-2:30pm\nLife is precious, and knowing what to do in an emergency can make all the difference. This informative session will teach participants how to recognize cardiac arrest and respond quickly and effectively using CPR techniques. \nEvery second counts in a cardiac emergency. When someone experiences cardiac arrest, immediate action can significantly increase their chances of survival. This class is designed to empower individuals with the confidence and knowledge to step in and help when it matters most.\nWhile this is not a certification course and does not provide official CPR certification, participants will gain valuable, practical skills that can help save a life.\nFree and open to the public. Registration is encouraged. Please register for the session you would like to attend by emailing wt_mail@clamsnet.org.\nPlease note: The class on Thursday, June 18 is cancelled.\n
