SUMMARY:Remembering the Rosenthals Concert
DESCRIPTION:The West Tisbury Library invites you to the annual “Remembering the Rosenthals” concert on Saturday, June 13, at 4pm. This concert will feature Music Street musicians Diane Katzenberg Braun, piano; Alan Toda-Ambaras, cello; Sangwon Lee, clarinet; and Yoonhee Lee, violin.\nMusic Street’s concert “Remembering the Rosenthals” weaves through many threads of diverse cultures. Musical offerings include a lively Handel trio sonata, the comic Peter Schickele’s Serenade for Three, a much loved Dvorak theme, “Games” from the acclaimed contemporary composer Gabriela Lena Frank, a sparkling clarinet and piano Rondo and Malaga composer Alberto Diaz’s “In Your Waves”. A virtuoso cello piece by Tchaikovsky will add dazzling colorful “threads”. There are so many sparkles in this concert to lift the spirit and remind us all of the treasures we can share.\nThis event is free, open to the public, and made possible by the generous support of Sara Rosenthal MD, Julie Prazich MD, the West Tisbury Library Foundation, and the Friends of the West Tisbury Library.\n
