Patrick will discuss tick ecology and behavior with an emphasis on the “Before the Bite” mantra. He will cover the most important prevention tactics to help keep you safe while outdoors. Learn how to reduce tick exposure at home, in your yard, and while enjoying the outdoors.\nPatrick Roden-Reynolds is Public Health Biologist for the Inter-Island Public Health Excellence Collaboration and Director of the Martha’s Vineyard Tick Program. His work focuses on education and surveillance of vector-borne diseases and their vector populations.\nThis event is free and open to the public.\n
