2D Needle felting workshop – registration is required

A 2D wool painting—often called “painting with wool” or 2D needle felting—is a flat fiber piece where you use colored wool fibers as your pigment and a barbed felting needle as your paintbrush.

Instead of spreading wet paint on a canvas, you layer tufts of fluffy wool roving onto a flat base fabric (like felt, linen, or cotton) and repeatedly poke it with the special needle. The tiny barbs on the needle tangle the wool fibers together and lock them right into the background fabric.
