Tweens & Teens Cook with Sarah Waldman at the West Tisbury Library!

Hungry teens? Beginning Tuesday, July 19th at 5:00pm, cookbook author Sarah Waldman will host a 4 week cooking class, Tweens and Teens Cook: How to Make Healthy and Delicious Snacks that you WANT to EAT! All ingredients will be supplied. Please sign up at the West Tisbury library, space is limited. This event is free and open to the public.

  • August 9th: Energy Balls!

Sarah Waldman is a food writer and recipe developer focusing on healthy, seasonal, delicious recipes that celebrate family-focused life. She attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, acting on her urge to stop the cycle of processed/low quality food appearing on America’s tables. She created her blog, www.sarahwaldman.com to document her adventure in cooking simple and healthy food. Her first book, Little Bites – 100 Healthy, Kid-Friendly Snacks was published in 2015. She is currently working on her second book, Feeding a Family – A Year of Simple and Healthy Family Dinners which is due out in the Spring of 2017. Her recipes have been showcased in Fine Cooking, Edible Vineyard, My New Roots, Mom.me. She currently lives on Martha’s Vineyard with her husband and two boys.
