Women in the Theater 2019 – playwrights, performers, provocateurs
Tuesday, August 13 at 4:30 pm, all are invited to the West Tisbury Library for a presentation by Carol Rocamora, educator, playwright, translator, biographer, and critic. Join us to celebrate women center stage, as Carol reviews the compelling voices of writers and roles in the 2018-2019 New York theatre season. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
About the speaker:
Carol Rocamora serves on the faculty of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Juilliard School. A reviewer of New York theatre, Carol is a member of the Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk, and the American Theatre Critics Association.
