Online Adult Community Dance Class with The Yard
Jan 27 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Online Adult Community Dance Class with The Yard

On Wednesdays at 10:30am, The Yard and the West Tisbury Library present Adult Community Dance Class through Zoom. This class welcomes adults, seniors, and everyone in between. The Yard’s Director of Island Programs and Education, Jesse Keller Jason, makes every(body) feel comfortable in this dance class. The class begins with a guided warm-up that will align the body and introduce dance technique along with building strength, stability, and flexibility. After bodies are warm and energized, participants transition to upbeat movement sequences that keep us socially connected and moving as one. Class will end with a combination that leaves space for the dancers’ own creativity. This class can be done in the comfort of your own home on any surface, seated or standing. Free and open to the public!

Classes will meet virtually on Zoom. Attend one, some, or all sessions. All are welcome! Please contact the library to receive the Zoom invitation to join: wt_mail@clamsnet.org.

His practices have been discovered through personal inquiry as well as through training, research, and mentorships. He will not only challenge you physically but will also challenge you to go deeper, to step into rigorous personal inquiry, and to engage with sensation. Discover the sweetness that comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone and into being fully alive.
