Make Your Own Tote Bag Workshop
On Sunday, October 22nd from 1-3pm, Sarah Vail will lead a workshop where participants can sew their own tote bag! Create a bag for carrying your books, groceries or even Halloween candy! Refreshments will be provided. This workshop is for adults, or children accompanied by sewing-knowledgeable adults. Free and open to the public.
Participants must bring their own materials: 1 yard fabric, 50″ of nylon webbing for handles, a sewing machine (if you have one), thread, and scissors.
Sarah Vail is a West Tisbury resident and the Family & Consumer Science teacher at the Edgartown School. She has a passion for sewing and sharing this passion with the community.
