Tweed Roosevelt in Conversation with Mariam Raqib

Tweed Roosevelt in Conversation with Mariam Raqib

On Tuesday, July 18th at 7pm, join us at the West Tisbury Library for an evening with Tweed Roosevelt in conversation with authors Mariam Raqib. This is the third event in the library’s summer series “Conversations with Tweed.” Mariam is the founder of the Afghanistan Samsortya, an organization developing Afghanistan reforestation projects. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

The “Conversations with Tweed” program series conducts a number of interviews in the Charlie Rose style with people who have interesting stories to tell. These will not be lectures. Instead, Roosevelt describes them as  “informal conversations such as I might have of an evening with these interesting people while sitting on my porch overlooking Tashmoo. You will be able to watch this as if you too were a guest and you will have a chance to join in.”
