Online Film and Discussion with Dr. Magdalena: Emergence

On Monday, August 3 at 4:30pm, the West Tisbury Library presents a virtual screening of the documentary “Emergence” followed by a discussion and Q&A with filmmaker Dr. Magdalena. This film, hosted by transformational tour guide Dr. Magdalena, gives the viewer a window into the San Francisco Bay Area TransTech community and some of the leading contemporary innovators of modern technology for health and well-being.

Dr. Magdalena holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at California Institute of Integral Studies, a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies from Naropa University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Journalism from James Madison University. She is a documentary filmmaker and CEO/Founder of EmerjAnew Inc, a transformational consulting and multi-media company dedicated to educating others in transformational techniques and practices for stress reduction and increased well-being, through workshops, lectures, one-on-one consultations as well as the creation of conscious and uplifting media She gives lectures and workshops on her area of expertise and has been a keynote at Yale University’s Society of Consciousness Studies conference for 3 years, presented at University of Arizona’s Towards a Science of Consciousness conference.
