Architecture, Poetry & Book Talk: Living Where Land Meets Sea

Join us at the West Tisbury Library on Saturday, September 30th at 3:30pm for a presentation with author and architect John DaSilva and poet GennaRose Nethercott in honor of their new book, Living Where Land Meets Sea: The Houses of Polhemus Savery DaSilva. This book features 35 homes that showcase a diverse work synthesizing influences from Shingle Style, Modernist, coastal New England vernacular, and other historic architecture. Nethercott will discuss the poems she wrote specifically for the book that offer a magical reflection of the heart and soul of the buildings featured as well as their coastal New England context. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
