Cooking Local for teens and adults

Teens and Adults cook with chef Kevin Crowell via Zoom and the West Tisbury Library!

Hungry teens or adults? Beginning Wednesday February 10th at 5:30pm, chef Kevin Crowell will host a week virtual cooking class, Cooking Local with Kevin Crowell.  Thanks to Slough Farm for the use of their beautiful kitchen space! 

All ingredients will be supplied by the library and available for curbside pick up the week of each class. Please sign up at the West Tisbury library, space is limited to ten, but each meal will feed four. This event is free and open to the public. 

February 10th: Beef Bolognese with fettuccine / Butternut Squash Raviolis with brown butter. sage, balsamic

February 17th: TBD

Kevin Crowell is the chef and owner of Detente restaurant in Edgartown as well as the Culinary Arts Instructor and Food Service Director for Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. 

Kevin has spent many years honing his craft to be able to pass on the culinary knowledge he has acquired.  His hope is that no matter your age or skill level you will come away from these lessons with a newly found passion and curiosity in the pleasure of cooking for yourself, family and friends.
