Book Talk with Justen Ahren: A Machine for Remembering

On Saturday, June 29 at 3:30pm, please join us at the West Tisbury Library for a book talk with local author Justen Ahren. Justen will read from his newly released poetry collection, A Machine for Remembering. The collection draws on his experiences and stories he heard while volunteering with refugees living in Moria Refugee Camp in Lesvos, Greece in 2018. Books will be available for purchase and signing, and refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

Justen Ahren, former Martha’s Vineyard Poet Laureate and founder of Noepe Center for Literary Arts, is author of two collections of poetry, A Strange Catechism, and A Machine for Remembering (Shanti Arts Press) and an album, After the War for the Valley.
